Will and Joe will discuss strategies for addressing claims made during a Project.  They will walk through the provisions in Contract Documents that address claims and the process for dealing with claims along with best practices for keeping accurate project documentation.

William “Will” Somodi is an attorney in Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Construction group.  He works with owners, design professionals, and contractors on various project delivery models and also serves clients in an Owner’s Representative capacity during the preconstruction and construction phase of projects.  A graduate of the University of Akron Law School with a certificate in Intellectual Property Law, Will also holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Akron.

Joe Riley is a registered professional engineer in the State of Ohio and a 2015 graduate from the University of Dayton.  Joe offers clients legal and construction project management advice.  He works with public and private owners on large- and small-scale projects, ensuring that they meet legal standards while staying on time and on budget.  Knowing the engineering details of construction projects, Joe aids his clients in important project decisions considering regulatory obligations.A buffet lunch will be served.
