Ultrasound has seen practical use in many industries, including Medical. While the general principles of ultrasound are straightforward, the design of the componentry, including long waveguides can be somewhat complex. This presentation provides design principles and methods for waveguide design that allow for efficient application of ultrasound in medical devices, although the principles are applicable anywhere ultrasound is used.
