This presentation will cover the Board’s Registration Act and the Code of Ethics for Engineers and Surveyors. Topics discussed will include the responsibilities of licensed Engineers and Surveyors to the public, company licensure requirements, tools available to organizations and firms to protect yourself and your organization, common violations of the registration act, and the Board’s process for investigating complaints and issuing disciplinary actions.
John F. Greenhalge has been with the Ohio State Board of Registration since 1998, previously serving as the Board’s Enforcement Supervisor and as the Assistant Executive Director before becoming Executive Director in 2006. With a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from Ashland University, John has served on numerous national committees for the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and is a recipient of the NCEES Distinguished Service Award in 2010 and the 2019 Meritorious Service Award. He has served as a presenter and guest lecturer to various organizations and colleges and universities on the topics of investigations, professional ethics, management, professional licensure and regulation.
